Aprons and/or chefs coats MUST be worn in the NAIT kitchens at all times (you will not be permitted in the kitchens without one). You will need to bring one with you as this is will not be provided. Hairnets are also required in the NAIT kitchens, but will be provided prior to the start of all hands-on classes.

Coats and other personal belongings will be stored in one locked classroom at the start of the day. You may only access it at lunch time when accompanied by a volunteer. Tell me once more what I need to bring?

Please bring:

  • A copy of your Eventbrite e-ticket (which should contain your schedule)
  • An apron or a chef’s coat
  • Your own cooking knives for your workshops. These will not be supplied by NAIT. The knives need to be wrapped or in a cover labelled with your name.

Why is there a photographer taking my picture?

We’ve asked a photographer to help us document the day so we’re able to capture the fun to help remember the Eat Alberta conference. If you are uncomfortable with having your picture taken though, please let us know when you register. On a related note – if you wanted to take a look at our privacy policy, it is here.
